Easy access at all times
Our newly-refurbished hotel is perfect for your stay in London. A short Underground journey gives superb accessibility to all the UK’s main rail networks that pass through the capital. There is also a direct Underground train journey to London Heathrow Airport from the local Earl’s Court station or an extremely cost-effective direct bus service to Gatwick that departs from the bus station, both being but a short walk from the hotel door. And extremely popular with guests, unlike other hotels, at night you’re away from the noise of the city centre.
Warm and welcoming
And within a quarter of an hour, you can be choosing a restaurant in the famous West End, browsing top fashions in the world-famous Borough of Kensington or visiting some of London’s renowned museums. Aimed firmly at the cost-conscious traveller, with facilities that many of the much more expensive and higher-starred hotels in London would find hard to match, the family-run Amsterdam guarantees a warm welcome to all their guests.
Comprising of 29 rooms, Amsterdam hotel London offers comfortable accommodation to solo travellers, couples, families and groups alike. Whether it’s a single, twin, double or family room, the attention to detail and comfort is the same throughout the hotel. All rooms are bright, featuring a large window that, during daylight hours, shows off the delightful pastel colours used throughout. And with lift access either from the moment you step off the train, or when you enter the hotel itself, you’ll have no worries about dragging luggage up and down stairs.
As guests always tend to do when entering their hotel room for the first time, a peek in the well-appointed en-suite bathroom will reveal a shower or bath complete with a never-ending supply of hot water, complemented by beautiful toiletries from Gilchrist and Soames and enough fluffy towels for all guests to pamper themselves dry.
Following your shower or bath, you’ll be able to recline (when dry!) on your very comfortable bed – taking care not to fall asleep just yet – with a freshly made cup of tea or coffee (facilities provided) and either watch the flat-screen TV or surf the internet through the complimentary Wi-Fi. Or you may prefer to get dressed and make use of the hotel’s computer room instead. Alternatively, if the weather in not too inclement, you can pop out to the hotel’s quiet patio garden for a read.
…and then, in the morning
If you are not confident with getting yourself up on time in the morning, you can always arrange a complimentary wake-up call with reception (all rooms have their own direct-dial telephone) and time it appropriately so as to ensure you can set yourself up for the morning by enjoying the included breakfast in the hotel’s delightful morning room before you set off for either your day in London or your onward journey.
